Who am I?
Through working as a Registered Behavioral Therapist for over four years, I have a passion for helping children/adolescents and families. I understand the importance of meeting clients where they are, and how this impacts comfort and openness in therapy. Due to my background, I have a passion for and specialize in working with children and adolescents with disabilities who have co-occurring disorders, as well as parent training and adjustment, and mother-daughter relationships. I also work with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, life adjustments, self-esteem, behavioral issues, trauma, parenting, boundaries, and relationships.
With my clients, I implement a tailored and collaborative approach that works for the individuals, and or families. I believe this is YOUR journey, and utilize a variety of collaborative methods including CBT, ACT, Solution-Focused approaches, and behavioral techniques to help you reach your goals and potential. I also find it important to highlight strengths and values in therapy to help clients reach their goals in a lasting and fulfilling way.
I received my Master of Science degree from Capella University, where I studied Clinical Mental Health Counseling. During this time, I attended multiple residencies, as well as clinical internship where I counseled at Elite DNA. I am currently a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (#IMH24291) in the state of Florida and plan to obtain clinical licensure.
I hope to connect and discuss beginning your counseling journey!
